Currently, he said, the E. Firma of the SAT is one of the most used digital tools in Mexico, with more than 55.1 million digital certificates issued at the end of June 2025. In addition to its use in fiscal procedures, it is key in more than 500 government services, such as obtaining professional cards, electronic billing and data updating before the RFC.
Hernández Xoxotla said that this agreement integrates the financial ecosystem within the framework of digital services of the SAT, consolidating a technological infrastructure with legal validity, focused on institutional efficiency and transparency.
For his part, the Vice President of Administration and Strategic Planning of the National Banking and Securities Commission, Francisco Joaquín Moreno y Rojas, said that the agreement will allow the CNBV directly to use some of the services offered by the SAT, especially in terms of use and validation of the advanced electronic signature.
Both institutions reiterated their willingness to continue collaborating in favor of a more modern, safe, reliable and focused on meeting the needs of the users of the Mexican financial system so that technology is a fundamental pillar of national development.
