Santo Domingo.—The National Police reported Wednesday night The arrest of Jean Andrés Pumarol Fernándezaccused of killing stabs Yolanda Handal Abugabil (70 years) and to hurt five other people in the Naco Dorado IV condominiumlocated on Fantino Falco Street, Naco sector.
The colonel Diego Pesqueiraspokesman for the institution, explained that the injured are Teresa Fabián Heredia (70 years), Francisco Texano (68 years), Griselda Ozuna (48 years), Victoria Heredia (36 years) and Guillermo Pumarol (62 years), father of the aggressor.
The injured receive medical care in health centers in the capital.
During the press conference, Colonel Pesqueira clarified that the investigations are in its initial phase and that, for now, there is no clinical information that allows confirming if Pumarol Fernández suffers from mental disorders. “I am not a specialist in Mental Health or have data that supports it,” said Pesqueira.
The Police and the Public Ministry work together to clarify the motivations of the attack and collect the evidence that supports the accusation. Colonel Pesqueira announced that they will offer more details as soon as the investigative process progresses.
