President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo announced that as of August 1, the registration process to the Women’s Welfare Program will begin, aimed at women between 60 and 64 years.
During the morning conference on Monday, Sheinbaum stressed that with this measure the commitment to ensure that, before the end of the year, all women in that age range access bimonthly financial support of 3 thousand pesos are fulfilled. This program is part of the three main welfare axes promoted by its administration.

In the same act, the Secretary of Welfare, Ariadna Montiel, reported that the program, initially projected to gradually expand until 2026, will be advanced in its entirety for this year.
Originally, the Plan contemplated including women 63 and 64 in 2025, and expanding coverage to 60 to 62 years in 2026. However, after instructions of the president, the record for this last group will begin in August.
Currently, the program has more than one million beneficiaries between 63 and 64.

Registration will be carried out from Monday to Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., during August. It will be carried out in alphabetical order, based on the first letter of the first last name. The specific dates, requirements, documentation and registration modules will be available on the official site: www.gob.mx/bienestar.
For its part, the Women’s Secretary, Citlalli Hernández, presented a progress report on the free centers project for women, whose objective is to strengthen female economic autonomy, prevent violence and provide legal and psychotional advice.
Hernández reported that a 90 percent advance has already been reached in the installation of these spaces, with 607 centers operating from the 678 projected for this year. More than 30 thousand women have been treated and at least one center in each municipality in the country is contemplated. The investment for the program amounts to 651 million 360 thousand 364 pesos.
