In the most recent edition of Brands & marketsthe program specialized in brand analysis conducted by Flavia Maggi, vice president of Ipsos and Executive Director of the EFFIE Awards, the new trends in transport applications and urban services were addressed. The special guest was Francesca Carrillo, Marketing Head of Yango Ride Peru, who offered a wide panorama about the operation and the value proposal of the platform.
During the interview, Carrillo explained that Yango Ride is positioned as a SUPERAPP, thanks to its ability to integrate various services into a single application.
“We are a SUPERAPP because we have a series of technologies applied to different services. We currently offer shipments, transport and a browser that helps to locate if you are driving,” he said.
In addition, he stressed that one of the differentials of the app is the inclusion of an option for heavy vehicles, which allows furniture, moving or other large products transfers, opening a range of possibilities beyond the conventional taxi service.
As for urban mobility, Carrillo mentioned that Yango Ride has different categories such as comfort, XL and PET, designed to meet diverse user needs. “Our mobility service was born with a structure designed in the comfort and versatility of our clients,” he said.
One of the most outstanding aspects of the interview was the explanation of the Yango business model, which, according to Carrillo, differs from that of other applications. “We work through partners. This means that we provide technology to driver fleet partners, which allows us a double security check and a direct communication channel with them,” he said.
This collaboration model with strategic allies not only reinforces security, but also guarantees better control and support for affiliated drivers, strengthening the quality of the service.
