The Ukrainian Ministry of Defense confirmed this Saturday the murder of Denis Kireev, a delegate from Kiev in the process of negotiations with Russia to settle the conflict diplomatically.
According to the authorities, the negotiator Kireev was shot several times in the territory near the Ukrainian capital of Kiev.
In this regard, Ukrainian officials stated that Kireev, also a financial expert, had been arrested by the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) for treason.
It should be noted that the Ukrainian authorities have not yet confirmed the causes of the murder of the member of the Ukrainian delegation in the round of negotiations with Russia, Denis Kireev.
The Ukrainian negotiator, Denis Kireev, held positions as deputy chairman of the board of Oschadbank, the State Savings Bank of Ukraine, in the period between 2010 and 2014; in addition to Deputy General Manager of the SCM Finance chain, between 2006 and 2008.
Also, the official, Kireev served as a member of the supervisory board of Ukreximbank, the National Export-Import Bank of Ukraine, between 2006 and 2012.
