The President of the Republic, Iván Duque, accompanied by the Minister of Mines and Energy, Diego Mesa, and the Comptroller General of the Republic, Carlos Felipe Córdoba, held this Saturday, March 5 tour of the main works of Hidroituango.
In the mega work he was received by the Vice President of Power Generation Projects of EPM, William Giraldo.

Hidroituango exceeds 87.32% construction progresswith the goal of starting to generate energy with the first unit in the second half of 2022.
Currently, 8,353 people from more than 80 contractor companies and EPM work on the site, distributed in the different work fronts, such as the power house, the soul of the future generation plant.
