The leader Luis Palocz It is one of the 23 isolated political prisoners at the headquarters of the Bolivarian National Intelligence Service (Sebin) known as El Helicoid. For four months, their family and partner are waiting for a call or that visits are allowed, while they are formed with knowing – half cards – medicines or personal toilet items you need.
On April 14, four months of the arbitrary detention of Palocz were completed, who was intercepted by hooded subjects while moving along Andrés Galarraga avenue, in the Chacao municipality. The leader was part of the municipal command that supported the candidacy of Edmundo González and is now one of the 890 political prisoners that the Criminal Forum counts. He also had aspirations to apply for mayor.
From his disappearance, his partner María Bravo tells, he spent three days without knowing anything about him. «I learned that I was here in the Helicoid, I had arrived the night before they warned us. They told me to take hot food.
Since his arrest, his family has not had communication with him. «We have not seen it. I imagine it will be fine. We can only communicate through letters where it says superficial things. We greet him, we ask him how he is ».

In those letters it is limited to writing what it needs, says Bravo, «because they read everything. Recently he made a bad movement on his wrist and has an inflammation in the ligaments, asked me for medications, a doll and commented that they had taken him to medical assistance. It is the only time they have taken him because he has had strong headaches, he has kidney problems.
Due to those diseases related to the kidneys, Maria has to consult the GP and send the medications to the jail so that her health does not worse, because they do not know their status with certainty by not having an exhaustive medical review.
«I always write that you drink enough water, try to walk or exercise, because all that affects you. It seems that they take them out once a day to sunbathe and exercise, but a single hour. Being locked almost all day is difficult, because all diseases bloom, ”says his partner.
