A Barbadillo: Peru has three former presidents in jail

The Prosecutor’s Office accuses him of receiving bribes for more than 2 million soles in exchange for awarding public works, such as the Moquegua Hospital and the Lomas de Ilo Project.

Vizcarra was dismissed by Congress in 2020 for “moral disability” and is disabled to exercise public office until 2031.
