The National Directorate of Traffic Operations of the National Police (PN) announced that as of next Monday, March 7, the investment of lanes in Vía Israel will be resumed, before the start of the school year.

The commissioner of the National Police, Luis Hernádez explained that this investment had been suspended for two years, since classes were being held virtually due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
There will also be lane reversal from Las Lajas to Villa Zaita from 5:30 a.m. to 7:30 a.m., and on Avenida José Agustín Arango from 5:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m.
In West Panama, the reversal of lanes from Arraiján to the Bridge of the Americas and from Arraiján to La Chorrera will continue.
The National Police asked drivers to allow students to cross the tracks when approaching a school.
