Judge temporarily stops Trump's measure to end the Biden immigration program

The anticipated termination, without any justification for the case, of the legal status of non -citizens who have complied with the DHS programs and have entered the country legally undermine the rule of law

A federal judge temporarily blocked this Monday to the administration of President Donald Trump so that he does not revoke a migratory program of the era of former president Joe Biden for people from Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua and Venezuela.

The American District Judge Indira Talwani in Boston, Massachusetts, issued a suspension of the order, saying that “the early termination, without any justification for the case of a case case, of the legal status of non -citizens who have complied with the DHS programs and have entered the country legally undermined the rule of law,” says the web portal of Axios.

“This ruling is a significant step towards justice not only for the hundreds of thousands of people who entered the United States through this important process, but also for US sponsors who received them in their homes and communities,” said Karen Tumlin, founder and director of the Immigrant Defense Group Justice Action Center, in a statement.

It is a blow to the hard immigration offensive of President Trump and a victory for half a million people in the US who received temporary legal status under the ChNV program, which faced a possible deportation after their completion scheduled on April 24.
