According to Nicolás Maduro, the “fraud” – from which he showed no evidence – in Ecuador’s presidential
Nicolás Maduro accused the Organization of the Organization on Monday to “mount” a “scandalous fraud” in the presidential elections of Ecuador, to give victory to the businessman and current president, Daniel Noboa.
«The regional right was contaminated. In fact, they say that the fraud that has been done in Ecuador did it, the sumate organization, an expert in psychological wars, in electoral frauds, recognized by the fraudulent dictator of Ecuador Daniel Noboa, which is the organization of Venezuela who set up the scandalous fraud, putrefacto, ”said Maduro at a meeting with candidates from the ruling to the elections of May 25.
According to Maduro, that “fraud” – which did not show evidence – was “supported and financed by imperialism”, in tune with complaints from left -wing organizations throughout Latin America.
With 94% of the voted votes, Daniel Noboa took almost 12 points above the candidate of Correism, Luisa González, who has not recognized the results.
“We are facing the most grotesque electoral fraud,” González said during an act on Sunday night where he requested the counting of the votes, after the National Council of that country announced the results.
The electoral agency said that it is possible to count, “as long as the requirements that the law clearly determine is met, under what conditions a count is established (…) we respect their opinion and the electoral function will enforce the law and we have proclaimed the irreversible results with responsibility.”
Nicolás Maduro said that “the Empire” aims to impose by “force” a political hegemony. “As they have done in Ecuador, with a horrible, unaudible fraud, to impose a colonialist project and politically and economically dominate an independent nation.”
On the other hand, he said that for the elections of May 25, where governors, deputies to the National Assembly and representatives of legislative councils, “more than six thousand candidates (…) already registered, the elections of May 25, as a total and resounding success for democracy” will be chosen.
