Maintenance works begin at Francisco Carlé de Jauja airport

The Peruvian Corporation of Airports and Commercial Aviation (CORPAC), an entity attached to the Ministry of Transportation and Communications (MTC), began the maintenance works of the Francisco Carlé de Jauja airport, through the formal delivery of the infrastructure to the Pimentel Consortium, a company responsible for executing the works.

This intervention is carried out within the framework of the emergency declaration of the Jauja Airport, arranged by the MTC on March 30, through which Corpac was empowered to execute urgent measures for the rehabilitation of the landing floor in the smallest possible term.

According to the schedule established between Corpac and the Contractor, the works will take place until May 19, 2025. From that date, the progressive resumption of commercial flights can be scheduled from and from this air terminal.
