The singer, songwriter, arranger and instrumentalist Joyce Moreno is the attraction of Music scene that TV Brasil shows this Saturday (12), at midnight. During the program, the carioca artist takes the stage to present Brazilian Songsits 42nd album, and shows the strength, wealth and importance of Brazilian music. Accompanied by Tutty Moreno (drums), Lula Galvão (guitar) and Bruno Aguilar (bass), Joyce plays his own compositions, such as Samba, Monsieur Binot, Brazilian Songs, Everyone, The sea is a woman, Carnival is still, Ox, Mysteries, This woman, So many lives, The Crazy Old and Women from Brazil/Female. The guest of Music scene also chants consecrated successes: March waters (Tom Jobim), Fear of loving (Vinícius de Moraes), Disadvantaged (Tom Jobim and Newton Mendonça), UPA NEGUINHO (Edu Lobo and Gianfrancesco Guarnieri) and Samba da Bonço (Baden Powell and Vinícius de Moraes).
Since young, music has been part of the life of Joyce Moreno, who has always revealed great skill by playing guitar. At 19, the artist became the first composer of MPB’s history to express herself in the female genre.
In addition to being a pioneer, Joyce Moreno collects hits with 42 albums released and about 400 compositions recorded by some of the biggest names in Brazilian music, such as Elis Regina and Milton Nascimento. Joyce was four times nominated for Latin Grammy in 2000, 2004, 2005 and 2010.
