Three students of the Institute of Public Technological Education “Juan José Farfán Céspedes” were intoxicated, after health personnel fumigate the classrooms of said institution. They were transferred to the support hospital II-2 of the Sullana province.
It happened yesterday morning, when the students of the platform architecture career had gone to the classroom of the Institute located in block 15 of Champagnat Avenue, in the Sánchez Cerro settlement.
After a moment, three of them, 19 years old, began to feel bad and even tried to fade and had to be helped by their classmates and the classroom teacher who, together with the staff and in a vehicle of the institute, immediately transferred them to the I-2 Support Hospital of Santa Rosa Avenue of this city.
As noted by the director of the aforementioned Institute, Edher Martínez, the students had been affected by the fumigation that had carried out last Thursday in the environments of said institution, the personnel of the Sub Region of Health Luciano Castillo. Likewise, after what happened, teachers and personnel assumed them and transferred them in a vehicle from the Institute to the I-2 Support Hospital.
He also explained that the fumigation against dengue would have been carried out without prior notice by the health personnel and even that the dates for this work would have changed.
After what happened, Martínez yesterday ordered the suspension of classes until next Monday. At the same time, he indicated that this had not happened on previous occasions where two fumigations have been carried out in this same institute, he told Mail.
