Delia Espinoza confirms that 43 thousand detainees in flagrance, less than 1,150 are for crimes of extortion, hired and kidnapping

Faced with criticism for an alleged support for criminals, the prosecutor of the nation, Delia Espinozahe presented official figures on the arrest of criminals during his speech at the meeting between institutions to address the issue of citizen security. Based on the data of the National Registry of detainees and sentenced to imprisonment (Renadespple), Espinoza said that less than 1,150 of the 43,000 detainees in flagrance are linked to crimes related to the recent wave of criminality that plagues the country.
