Special Plan Yurramendi proposes for the next five -year period

“We are going through two large lines, which we have already worked on, but perhaps it has not been seen but it has been advanced. It consists in improving and raising the level of several paths of the department, where production has an important daily circulation” advancement José Yurramendi.
“In this period there have been important forest and productive roads and runners and there are others that have raised the level of bitumen placement in Quebracho, in Uruguay town and on Route 38 that leads to Arévalo” detailed.

In terms of rural roads there are two large claims: the roads where most of the production of the department- rice, soy and cattle- and the roads that the neighbors use daily to move to the populated centers, send their children to the school or that the teacher arrives.

In this sense, the former mayor of Cerro Largo met this week with leaders of the Association of Rice Cultivators, a meeting that took place in very good terms, because it is another of the sectors that uses the paths of the department, especially in harvest times.

He recalled that the Intendencia transferred a percentage of the collection for rural real estate contribution so that mayors can repair the roads.
