The National District Prosecutor’s Office began this morning the delivery of the belongings recovered during the process of lifting the bodies of the victims affected by the collapse of the ceiling of the Jet Set disco.
The delivery is made on the fifth floor of the investigative building of the National District Prosecutor’s Office. The delivery will be made from Monday to Friday, from 9:00 in the morning to 3:30 in the afternoon, by the Prosecutor’s Office of the Homicide Department and their support staff.

Prosecutor Rosalba Ramos explained that, from the first moment, prosecutors assigned to the Homicide Department, together with other areas of the Public Ministry, have actively collaborated with the Emergency Operations Center (COE), the National Institute of Forensic Sciences (INACIF), the National Police and other competent institutions, providing technical and human support during the recovery and identification work.

“As part of that accompaniment, we managed to recover an important part of the personal objects of the victims, some already duly identified and others that are still in the process of verification, which can be removed by their relatives,” said Ramos.
Preliminary, 221 fatal victims are reported with recovered belongings to be withdrawn by their families
To withdraw belongings, family members must present their identity card, a record that accredits the link with the victim and, if they have it, the number of the act of lifting or the corresponding death certificate.
The preliminary balance of fatalities established by the authorities is located in 221, which mostly left belongings that were recovered by the Public Ministry.
