Third direct flight from the United States up with 191 deported migrants

To date, said Transport Minister Ramón Velásquez Araguayán, 2,557 migrants have been received on 13 deportation flights, three of them directly from the United States. He reiterated, like Diosdado Cabello, that those deported who have any judicial request will be placed under the orders of courts


On the morning of this Friday, April 11, a new deportation flight arrived with 191 Venezuelan migrants, directly from the United States, to Maiquetía International Airport. Two of them have an international arrest warrant, made by Interpol Colombia.

According to the Minister of Transportation, Ramón Velásquez Araguayánamong those deported there are 16 women and 175 are men, although he did not offer further details about their conditions. A day before, another 178 Venezuelans deported by the administration of Donald Trump arrived in the country, including two requested by justice: one for homicide and another required by crimes in Peru.

Like Minister Diosdado Cabello, the holder of the transport portfolio said that “those who have a pending cause with Venezuelan justice, here are the state institutions that will put the actions to be met immediately.”

To date, said the Minister of Transportation, 2,557 migrants have been received on 13 deportation flights, three of them directly from the United States.

The Trump administration began the deportation of Venezuelan migrants, as well as the cancellation of benefits such as humanitarian parole, under accusations that they belong to the criminal band of Aragua and are part of a “hostile” policy by Nicolás Maduro against the US.
