The President of the Republic, Nicolás Madurosaid Friday that he carries the steering wheel to “drive the victories of the town” and shared a message to remember the anniversary of his beginnings as a worker of the Caracas Metro.
“February 21 is a date that I will remember forever in my life, it was the day I started my journey through the Caracas Metro, where I trained for two and a half months to become a superficial transport operator,” said the president through their Social Network Accounts.
The head of state highlighted the beautiful memories that it retains of that time and said it belongs to a generation that rose “in the midst of uncertainties, hopes and a lot of work, to conquer collective dreams of improvement, dignity and homeland.”
In addition, he sent a message to the men and women who are part of the Caracas Metro, indicating that 34 years ago he entered “without knowing what my destination would be, I now carry the steering wheel to drive the victories of the town. I feel proud to remain the same! ”
