Student poisoning and administrative staff in San Francisco de Macorís, Duarte province, do not stop.
This Friday, the ghost to which so many fear in that municipality visited the Municipal District President Antonio Guzmán Fernández “Aguayo”, specifically at the Hernán José Sánchez Educational Center.
Those affected this time are 15 students of said Lyceum, who presented symptoms of poisoning after the premises apply pesticides for agriculture in the surroundings.
Some of the students had to be transferred to the community’s polyclinics and others to several health centers of that demarcation.
The cases of poisoned already exceed 1,000, since 2005, according to the most recent information provided by Robert Frías, president of the Dominican Association of Teachers (ADP) of San Francisco de Macorís.
