The last weekend before the carnival in Rio de Janeiro began marked by heat. In these two days, the capital will feature dozens of blocks through the streets, technical rehearsals of samba schools and sound testing at the Marquês de Sapucaí sambadrome.
Only this Saturday (22), 53 blocks are scheduled to cheer up streets and squares of the city. The highlight is the Favorite Block, which is part of the Megablocos Circuit and, since 7am, has transformed Rua First of March, in the city center, into an open -air funk ball, surrounded by revelers with the most diverse costumes .

Sambadrome
This Saturday will have another night’s rehearsals of the Special Group samba schools at the Marquês de Sapucaí sambadrome. It will be the turn of Hummingbird, HoseVila Isabel and Portela.

Riotur, a city hall company that promotes tourism in the city, said on Saturday that the sambadrome received a definitive license from the fire brigade.
