A vessel with several people caught Wednesday night in Delta Amacuro waters, when they were illegally moved to Trinidad and Tobago from the town of Pedernales.
After ignoring the fate of this trip on Thursday morning, a second boat sailed in their search, finding several people alive floating in the water, so they were rescued in a first intervention.
Because it was a clandestine event due to the illegality of the mobilization, the authorities had not confirmed this fact, but after the return of the second curly to Pedernales, they activated the search protocol.
It was known that more than 20 people were in the boat and several of them were already rescued alive and are in Pedernales, north of Delta Amacuro.
