Evo Morales, former president of Bolivia between 2006 and 2019, announced on Thursday, February 20 that he will apply as a “unique candidate” for the presidential elections that will be held on August 17.

“We already have the game to participate in this year’s elections!” Morales said. “With the Front for Victory we will win the national elections (…) I want you to know that there is no conditioning, here is everything to save Bolivia,” Morales said.

Eliseo Rodríguez, leader of the FPV, said: “The time came to tell the Bolivian people: the fellow Evo will return to the Presidency of the Republic.”
