The branch that will connect the train of the Interoceanic corridor of the Isthmus of Tehuantepec (CIIT) with the two mouth refinery will be ready the last quarter of 2026, said the project director, Vice Admiral Juan Carlos Vera Minjares. The Vice Admiral said that the maritime-port area of the CIIT is comprised of four ports: Coatzacoalcos, Salina Cruz, Dos Bocas and Puerto Chiapas.
