The year 2024 ended with assets for RD $ 104,428.7 million, for a growth of 6.20% in relation to the previous year 2023.
The information was offered by the president of Coopnama, Santiago Portes, during a press conference at the headquarters of the entity on the occasion of the 54th anniversary of the foundation of the mutualist entity.
The credit portfolio amounted to RD $ 65,055.22 million, which represents an increase of 13.4% in relation to the year 2024, while the assets totaled RD $ 62,883.02 million, for 15.70% compared to 2023.
The surpluses for distributed added RD $ 6,408. 9 million, which will be used for the contributions of partners, social plans and social responsibility aid.

He informed that, for the celebration of the 54th anniversary, 340 children of partners will be integrated into the National Scholarship Program, which has benefited more than 5,000 young people.
At present, the program has 1,435 students studying in 20 universities in the country.
He stressed that Coopnama has more than 190,000 partners, who receive a wide range of services, such as consumption, mortgage and household goods loans.
He announced that between RD $ 1 50 and RD $ 200 million will be used as a seed capital for young people and women to make ventures.
