The President of the Council of Ministers, Aníbal Torresanticipated that the Former President Alberto Fujimori will be transferred to another prison when your health improves. Fujimori was transferred to an emergency from the Barbadillo prison to Hospital II Vitarte and then transferred to the Centenario clinic, where he was admitted to an Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
Aníbal Torres was approached by the press this Friday, March 4, after participating in the Executive Meeting: strengthening the management capacity of the municipalities of populated centers in Peru.
After being asked if “the proposal to transfer Alberto Fujimori to another prison is still standing”, the response was immediate by the prime minister: “When healed”.
Along these lines, he denied that the Government of Pedro Castillo is seeking a probable pardon. “Nor there is nothing on the subject of pardon to Alberto Fujimori, for now. Also, no one has requested it.Torres said.
“All the sick who are in prisons are duly cared for. In this sense, the president Alberto Fujimori as well. His relatives have taken him, first, to a hospital and then to a clinic. It is his right,” he added.

The general practitioner and congressman of Fuerza Popular, Alexander Aguinaga pointed out that Fujimori remains in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU)where he has been evaluated by clinic specialists.
“What is sought, in the first place, is to be able to control this atrial fibrillation that generates so much arrhythmia and as a result of this arrhythmia those precordial pains appear and this situation that yesterday aggravated it,” Aguinaga declared on channel N.
