The 2024 Treasury Direct Treasury Olympics (Olitef) will reward participants, with the distribution of direct resources to schools drawn among the institutions present in the other phases. The units, two per state, chose awards in the amount of R $ 100 thousand each.
There were 32 units contemplated with computer laboratories, while 14 schools received robotics kits, five opted for science sets, as well as two building materials kits and one of court equipment and sports materials. The teachers who will receive individual awards for their participation will be drawn on Wednesday (19), the last activity of the 2024 edition.
In the previous phases, 6,560 schools participated, all public. Among those drawn, 33 are state institutions, 18 municipal and 3 are federal institutes. Among the students, 61,689 received medals. The competition trained 17,000 teachers with training in financial education.
The initiative has gathered education units and others linked to the national financial system, such as the Central Bank EAA National Treasury Secretariat, and had among its objectives to expand the population’s knowledge of investment mechanisms in government bonds. Participants, elementary and high school students, had specific content of personal finance, basic financial mathematics and investments. In this edition, the first, there was more than 546 thousand students from 2,234 cities.
By 2025, the Olitef organization announced its race for September 9. Students from the 6th grade of elementary school until the 3rd year of high school, after the registration by schools in the schools Olympics platform. The other dates of this year’s calendar have not yet been released.
