Meanwhile, for Vladimir Cerrón they ask for 20 years of penalty for terrorism and five more years for obstruction of justice. For the three characters they also requested their final disqualification to exercise public office. The case is currently in trial.
On the case
The supraprovincial prosecutor specialized in crimes of terrorism and Lesa Humanidad de Huánuco was the institution that initiated the investigation into the links they would have had with the Quispe Palomino brothers.
This case arises from a report by the dircote that was held from the statements of the president of the Plurinational Association of Reservistas Tahuantinsuyanos Eddy Villarroel Medina, “Sacha”, who said there were links between Cerrón, Bellido and Bermejo and the brothers Quispe Palomino, terrorists and leaders of the Shining Path that is still in the River Valley Apurímac, Ene and Mantaro (VRAEM).
According to Villarroel, Bermejo and Bellido would have had direct contact with the ‘Comrade José’ in the Vraem hiking camps. In the case of Vladimir Cerrón, he did it through a person linked to his environment identified as Alex Pimentel Vidal, who worked for Cerrón in 2012, when he was a regional governor of Junín and who was arrested in 2018 by the dircote, seized videos, Photos and documentation of the militarized Communist Party.
