Orteman defends Roque Santa Cruz’s decision to go to Libertad

In communication with Versus Radio, the Uruguayan stated: “I think he had a very big wear and tear on the club. He left everything, he was champion five times and he wanted to continue enjoying himself”.

Regarding the situation in Santa Cruz, Orteman added: “Here a player is judged for going to another club to rest mentally.” Likewise, he pointed out that “when the players are referents they carry many things on their backs.
