The business sector will announce its proposal on the increase in the minimum wage of un sectorized workers next Monday, February 24 at 10:00 in the morning.
He assured Laura Peña IzquierdoPresident of the Patronal Confederation of the Dominican Republic (COPRDOM), who explained that, during the meeting held today by the National Salary Committee (CNS), entrepreneurs analyzed everything that could affect national production after the review of said minimum wage.
«We saw several percentages, with accumulated inflation, increased productivity index and put some approaches on the table; However, a final proposal, with a true percentage, we will discuss it next Monday … next week, God through here we will be at 10:00 in the morning, ”said the businesswoman.

Peña Izquierdo stressed that it should be cautious in the review of the minimum wage of the unsenical sector, since, as he said, any increase could have effects on the Dominican economy.
«This is a job that the business sector had to do, because we represent multiple sectors. We must be cautious in the review of the salary, because any review can have effects on the economy, ”he said.
It should be noted that, on the table of the CNS, there are the proposals of the union centrals, which consist of an increase of 30%, and that of the Dominican government, of 20%.
