A 54 -year -old man was arrested by the authorities after being accused of the alleged harassment against a 10 -year -old girl. The apprehension of the accused was held last Saturday, February 15, in the Guanipa municipality of the Anzoátegui state, and referred local media that the detainee was identified as José Briceño.
The suspect was arrested by officials of the Municipal Police of Guanipa (Poliguanipa), on the streets of the San José de Monteverde sector.
With libidinous eyes
The legal representative of the minor was the one who denounced the man for an alleged inappropriate action against the girl. According to the reports, the incident occurred during the noon on Friday, February 14, when the girl walked to her aunt’s house, where she would look for some foods to prepare lunch.
When passing in front of this man’s house, the subject wanted to manipulate her to enter the residence. Apparently, he offered him money inside his home. According to the complaint, Briceño looked at the child inappropriately.
Subsequently, seeing that the subject insisted on his request, the girl fled the site to tell her aunt. After knowing the situation, Poliguanipa officers mobilized to Briceño’s house, and subsequently transferred to the police headquarters.
The defendant was at the order of the Twelfth Prosecutor’s Office of the Public Ministry, for alleged crimes typified and sanctioned in the Organic Law on Protection of Children and Adolescents (Lopnna). The authorities urge the population to denounce these types of situations.
