According to the head of the Junín police region, Danilo Vera, in the vast majority of cases, the current owners do not know whether the vehicle was stolen or not, and at the time of their recovery, in addition to losing the money invested in the car, they are accused of reception.
To avoid this type of deception, the National Police recommend that, before making a purchase and sale of a car, the PNP vehicle theft unit will be used and an expertise is made. They also called on the notaries to request this expert at the time of purchase and sale.

Owner recovers his car after a year
Among the recovered vehicles is Mr. Armando, which was stolen, cloned and sold by 30 thousand soles. After a year, it was found in the city of Tarma. According to the owner, last year he rented his car to a subject who identified himself as William Ríos Quispe. The first months paid the rent, until one day he disappeared and Mr. Armando realized that the documents he had presented were false.
After recovering his car after a year, Mr. Armando recognized the work of the National Police.
