Promoted by the São Paulo Regional Dentistry Council (CROSP), the award is in its 7th edition and recognizes the best journalistic works that address health -related topics, focusing on dentistry.
The award -winning matter reveals that much of the Brazilian population still suffers from the loss of teeth, a reflection of the difficulties of access to dental care. The report originally aired in March 2024 shows that among the elderly aged 65 or older, 75% lost all teeth, which often leads people to hide their mouths by hand.

In Natal, Capital Potiguar, the team also accompanied actions that value the role of specialized dentistry in SUS to assist the identification of victims of sexual abuse, addressing the importance of multidisciplinary work in public health.
