For the current year, the National Electoral Institute (INE) preserved for its staff all the paid remuneration, some even before 2014, when the organ went from being a federal under national command in the matter.
The respective manual, approved yesterday at the Executive General Meeting, refers to ordinary perceptions, performance and extraordinary perceptions (which includes the bond
granted in the election year, corresponding to the payment of a month of salary).
The INE payroll, of more than 20 thousand workers, is divided by hierarchical groups; It has on the cusp to the 11 counselors and also the main managers, whose benefits are the highest of the institute, such as insurance (institutional life, retirement collective, major medical expenses and individualized separation); holiday and five -year premiums; 40 -day salary bonus; Funeral expenses, vacations and pantry of 350 pesos per month (for managers), and others inherent in the position: vehicles and feeding expenses (up to 11,970 per month).
According to a recent tab disseminated by the INE, each of its counselors have gross monthly salary of 46 thousand 212 pesos, plus guaranteed compensation of 199 thousand 887, which gives a gross perception of 246 thousand 99 pesos. Since 2021, the INE filed a constitutional controversy against the Federal Remuneration Law of Public Servants and the First Chamber of the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation granted him the suspension requested so that the fees received by their members are fixed without observing The aforementioned law, specifically without considering the parameter of the total annual remuneration of the head of the Executive.
For budgetary purposes, the workers of the Institute are divided into administrative branch, National Electoral and Personal Service by fees; At the same time, there are ordinary perceptions and compensation.
Social Security, as state workers
At the general level, INE workers have the social security benefits of workers at the service of the State, as well as others such as the aforementioned and individuals such as the celebrations of the Mother’s Day, of Kings, of the Child, of the Father, as well as transfer expenses and academic scholarships.
In the case of the personnel benefiting with the payment of major medical expenses, this benefit covers the command and counterpart personnel (spouse and children) in the event of an accident or illness.
