On Friday (14), Fonseca had already become the youngest Brazilian to advance to a semifinal of the professional circuit and today he has made history again by becoming a finalist with only 18 years. With the classification to the final, the carioca will rise from 99th position to 74th place in the next update of the ranking of the Association of Professional Tennisas (ATP) next Monday (17). The young man will be the best -placed Brazilian tennis player on the list, posted until then occupied by Paraná Thiago Wild.
