Nicolás Maduro proposes to change 80 articles of the Constitution

From the elliptical hall of the Federal Legislative Palace, Nicolás Maduro delivered this Saturday, February 15, the constitutional reform project, said the proposal raises a “Venezuela self -sustainable “


Nicolás Maduro presented, this Saturday, February 15, to the National Assembly the Constitution reform project which includes the change of 80 articles of the current Constitution.

He said that Reforma seeks to “expand and improve Venezuelan democracy, build a new society and modernity, and establish a clear economic model for future generations.”

From the elliptical hall of the Federal Legislative Palace, he said that the reform seeks a Venezuela self -sustaining, with a diversified and independent economy, invulnerable to “external and internal attacks.”

“This year we have a challenge for the great constitutional reform that we are going to discuss and agree on the territories, in the assemblies, in the bases,” said Maduro.

Ripe He affirmed that the constitutional reform will be debated throughout the country, in assemblies and with the popular bases, so that “there is consensus and broad citizen participation.”
