They order preventive detention for two subjects accused of attempted kidnapping of a minor under 15 years of age

The Public Ministry ordered preventive detention for two subjects accused of the attempted kidnapping of a 15-year-old adolescent in the municipality of Yapacaní. The arrest of the two people occurred in flagrante delicto. In addition to the accusation of attempted kidnapping, they are charged with other crimes such as aggravated robbery and carrying weapons.

The events occurred in the Villa Belén neighborhood, in the urban area of ​​Yapacaní, on the night of March 1. The DThe subjects, with gun in hand, tried to kidnap a girl 15 years old. The victim called for help and the subjects only managed to steal her cell phone.

The police operation carried out as a result of the complaint managed to capture the suspects. At their arrest, they had a 9-millimeter caliber firearm.

According to the victim’s testimony, the two subjects were traveling in a Noah vehicle when they intercepted it. He said that he was going to a store near his home and that, suddenly, aOne of the subjects got out of the motorized vehicle and pointed the gun at her neck to get her into the vehicle.

Faced with the threat, the teenager began to scream. Several neighbors reacted to the call for help, which caused the kidnappers to flee. In the struggle with the attacker, he took the teenager’s phone.

The Public Ministry indicated that Both detainees have criminal records.. Ramiro Claros Gonzales served a sentence in the Palmasola prison for the crimes of aggravated robbery and criminal association. In addition, a second unexecuted sentence for homicide in a traffic accident weighs on him.

In the case of Pablo Inocencio Lovera Lira, it is known that he has been accused of rape.

After the preliminary hearing, Claros was sent to Palmasola while Pablo Inocencio was sent to the Montero prison. Regarding the latter, “the imputation for the crime of attempted kidnapping will be extended,” prosecutor Jhiamir Funes reported.

Crime wave worries the population

According to statements by neighbors, authorities and leaders, in YApacaní, crimes have increased in recent months. One of the most recurrent is motorcycle theft. Assaults and home robberies have also been reported.

Last week, the transporters carried out a massive march that ended in a town hall asking the authorities for a citizen security plan.

“We regret the insecurity that has gripped our municipality and it is worrying that criminals with records are loose on the streets of our municipality, justice is really bad,” said the president of District 2, Bladimir Bautista.
