Hamas announced today the names of the three Israeli hostages that will release in an exchange during the weekend.
It is the most recent sign that the fragile high -fire agreement in Gaza seems to be maintained, despite a dispute that threatens to resume fighting.
The armed group identified the three men who will be released on Saturday as the Israeli-Argentino Iair Horn, 46, the Israeli-American Sagui Dekel Chen, 36, and the Israeli-Ruso Alexander (Sasha) Troufanov, of 29 years.
Israel must free more than 300 Palestinian prisoners who are in their prisons in exchange for the three hostages. This will be the sixth exchange since the high fire entered into force on January 19.
Until now, 21 hostages and more than 730 Palestinian prisoners have been released in the first phase of the truce. However, in recent days, the high fire was dangerously close to the collapse.
