The president of Fedecámaras Trujillo, Nelson Monreal, warned this Friday, February 14 that the entity’s bus for the payment of taxes in the Trujillo state.
«We have state taxes and municipal taxes. In addition, there is the issue of parafiscal contributions that are exorbitant. The mayors and municipal councils continue to consider that they have the free path to raise the tax rate, ”he said in interview to Fedecámaras Radio.
The unionist also pointed out that the constant failures in the electricity supply diminish productivity to the entrepreneurs and farmers of the Trujillo state.

The president of Fedecámaras Trujillo explained that the decrease in agricultural production in the Andean region affects the rest of the country, increasing the price of consumer goods that come from this region. «As long as there is less supply and a lot of demand, prices will rise. That is the problem with not being able to produce 100% for electricity cuts, ”he said.
On the other hand, the producers and merchants of the Andean area They expect the project to expand and modernize the port of La Ceibaan infrastructure that would allow more easily to achieve crops and products generated in the region.
The union representative indicated that with this work the producers could increase their profits and solve the precariousness they drag for the payment of taxes in Trujillo. «However, today the port is stopped.
