Trump orders the pentagon to prepare 30,000 beds for migrants in Guantanamo

US has applied immigration policies against Venezuelan citizens such as deportation flights and detention at the Guantanamo base

American media reported that the Donald Trump administration has sent more than 100 Venezuelan migrants to the Guantanamo base, in Cuba, where the US government conditioned with 30 thousand beds the facilities to send detainees for migratory crimes and other criminals of Alta danger.

Although they have not given details of who are the detainees, the spokesmen of the US Executive continue to qualify them as “criminals” and link them with the Aragua train.

The New York Times indicated that 53 men are within Guantanamo, which make up half of the list of Venezuelans arrested in the well -known military base.

EFE contacted the families of four of the migrants who are in the list published by the newspaper, who defend the innocence of their loved ones and denounce that they have not been able to communicate with them for several days. They ensure that no criminal records were found beyond migratory crimes.

Humanitarian organizations denounced that these migrants are incommunicado and urged to guarantee access to information on detention conditions and due process for those affected.

The lawsuit, which includes the sister of one of the detainees, was filed by the US Union for Civil Libertads (ACLU) and the Center for Constitutional Rights, among other groups, reported on Wednesday.
