President of the PJ, Janet Tello, faces dismissal

The National Board of Justice (JNJ) opened an immediate disciplinary procedure against the president of the Judiciary, Janet Telloand four other judges that can conclude with the dismissal of all.

Cadenillas was passed to retirement in February 2014, along with two other officers, for irregularities in his accountability of a work trip that he made to Arequipa in August 2013.

According to the plundering, in the Cassation No. 40525-2023-Lima the magistrates invoked article 388 of the Civil Procedure Code that would be repealed, and that previously demanded to demonstrate the direct incidence of the infraction on the contested decision.

Express concern

“I must point out that my line of conduct throughout my judicial career has always been and is attached to the law and the Constitution,” he said yesterday in a written statement.

He also said that this disciplinary measure “does not pay for the strengthening of democratic institutions and respect for the independence of judges and judges in their decisions.”
