The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela categorically repudiated the false and reckless statements of the Southern Command Comandante, Alvin Holsey, during his recent appearance before the US Senate.
The information was announced by the Chancellor of the Republic, Yván Gil through an official statement published in his Telegram channel.
In the letter Venezuela expresses that these statements lack the foundation and repeat the same misleading narrative, bought by the Biden administration, with which the Venezuelan ultra -right has scammed them, using millions of dollars from the contributions of US citizens.

These statements lack the foundation and repeat the same deceptive narrative, bought by the Biden administration, with which the Venezuelan ultra -right has cheated them, using millions of dollars from the contributions of US citizens.
The accusations of drug trafficking, corruption and destabilization are nothing more than fake news and dirty wars campaigns, which have already demonstrated their failure. They seek to justify their own mistakes, as well as the complicity and corruption that has led them to the situation that extremists face today in Venezuela, also trying to cover up the true illicit traffic networks in the region, whose routes are widely known to the command South.
Venezuela faces drug trafficking with a sovereign and responsible model, firmly fighting a problem whose roots are outside its borders. We reject the disqualifications of US military organizations, such as the South Command, which have a history of interferentism and colonialist attitudes.
The Bolivarian Government reaffirms its commitment to peace, stability and a multicentric and multiplaying world. We urged US political sectors to abandon confrontation rhetoric and respect the self -determination of peoples.
