Oaxaca, Oax., Constantino Soriano Mendoza, councilor of the municipality of San Miguel Panixtlahuaca, in the state of Oaxaca, was killed yesterday, said the municipal president of that town, Eleuterio García Mendoza; The crime of the 42 -year -old politician was confirmed by the State Attorney General’s Office.
In a statement, García Mendoza expressed indignation for the homicide of the councilor, which, he said, was perpetrated around 13 hours yesterday.
The Oaxaca Prosecutor’s Office expanded the information and announced that the murder was perpetrated while the councilor circulated in a van through the streets of the Centro de Panixtlahuaca neighborhood. The reports indicate that strangers fired against him from another vehicle.
Elements of said institution arrived at the scene, who initiated the proceedings of law.
