Finance Minister Fernando Haddad reported on Thursday (13) that the federal government will send a proposal to the National Congress to regularize the Pé-Degia Program and the budget inclusion of 2025. The proposal will be sent within the period of 120 days, defined by the Federal Court of Audit (TCU).
This Wednesday (12), the plenary of the Federal Court of Audit (TCU) decided release payments of the football program that were blocked. The court accepted an appeal from the federal government to release the transfers. In January of this year, Minister Augusto Nardes ordered the blockade of R $ 6 billion of the R $ 13 billion foreseen for the program in 2025. Then, the Attorney General of the Union (AGU) requested the revision of the decision.
According to Haddad, the decision of TCU responds to the Ministries of Finance and Education and allows the accommodation of the program in the budget. The minister also said that sending the adjustments will be made within the stipulated period and then “transfers responsibility, of course, for Parliament to appreciate the law.”
The Minister of Education, Camilo Santana, said earlier that the first installment of the footing program will be deposited still in February.

The Péca-de Step program is aimed at students enrolled in public high school, beneficiaries of the Single Registry for Social Programs of the Federal Government (CadÚnico).
The goal is to democratize access to education and reduce social inequality among young people, as well as encourage inclusion and stimulate social mobility.
By proving enrollment in high school and school attendance, the student receives the monthly incentive in the amount of $ 200, which can be drawn at any time.
In the case of youth and adult education, when proving enrollment, the student receives an incentive of $ 200, as well as a monthly incentive of $ 225 for frequency, both available for withdrawal.
The beneficiary of the foot still receives $ 1,000 at the end of each year, which can only be removed from savings after graduation in high school. Considering the incentive installments, the annual deposits and the additional R $ 200 for participation in the National High School Exam (Enem), the values reach R $ 9,200 per student.
