The Chancellor of the Republic, Yván Gil, denounced that the United Nations System intends to wash the face of leaders of Venezuelan opposition sectors who looted the funds for Venezuela for supposed humanitarian aid.
“Some United Nations bureaucrats intend to wash the corrupt face that looted the funds for Venezuelans. They sell us deceptive figures to cover up the scandal that is about Telegram channel.
In that sense, he described this UN action as “mafia and scammer”, since “that money ended in the pockets of opponents, in bank accounts abroad and in financing for media campaigns.”
He said that the most serious thing is that this money was used “in the organization of Guarimbas, in the purchase of weapons and even in the supply of drugs to feed violence in the streets.”
“Now, given the imminent fall of the castle of lies, they take inflated reports to pretend they did something. What there was was an operation of corruption and sabotage, disguised as ‘humanitarian aid’, ”he said.
