Intendance and Municipality of Río Branco coordinate unfinished works
Within the framework of the planning of works for this year, the mayor of Cerro Largo, Fernando Gamarra, headed an institutional meeting together with his works team and the director of the Treasury of the Intendance, Rafael Rodríguez.
In the meeting, held with the technical team of the municipality and the mayor of Rio Branco, definitive aspects for the execution of pending projects were defined.
Rodríguez stressed that it was an instance of dialogue and coordination where works were reviewed that could not be completed in 2023 due to unforeseen factors.
“The positive thing about all this is that, in the month of March, once the municipality can finish some pending works and after the celebration of the carnival, the works of the Interior Development Fund (FDI) will be resumed in the city of Rio Branco, ”he said.
The director of the Treasury recalled that it is a large -scale project, originally driven by former mayor José Yurramendi.
“The resources are prompt to be executed and the OPP already has these funds.
It was important, at this point of the year, to plan the works to be carried out, as well as organize the material and economic resources of the work, ”he explained.
From the intention they underline the importance of maintaining these coordination instances with the municipalities to guarantee an efficient execution of the projects in the department.
