The Secretary of Higher Education (Senescyt) indicated that it prepares a plan for students who return from Ukraineafter the armed conflict of that country with Russia.
This after the parents of the students asked to ensure education for these young people who have emigrated to educate themselves, especially in medicine, engineering and communication careers.
The Senescyt explained that joint work is being carried out with the Foreign Ministry and “parents of Ecuadorian students who will return from Ukraine to continue their higher studies in Ecuador.”
The Foreign Ministry records that there are at least 812 Ecuadorian students in Ukraine. The requirements according to Senescyt will depend on each case. For example, those who have been in the first levels will have to give an entrance test. While for the others, knowledge evaluations will be made.
However, the process will begin once the students arrive in the country. (AVV)
