The National Student Welfare Institute (Inabie) said that, after finishing the processes of tender of backpacks, pants and poles, will guarantee the timely delivery of useful and uniforms for close to 2 million of students of the public sector in the school years 2025-2026 and 2026-2027.
The institution informed that, together with the acquisition of shoes, notebooks and means – whose award processes will conclude in the next few days -, will reach a total purchase of 26.2 million units of school supplies Until 2027. This represents an increase of 39% compared to the previous tender.
The Executive Director of INABIE, Víctor Castro, stressed that this planning allows you to dispose of the materials necessary to build the school kits, which include pants, pole, shoes, socks, backpacks, notebooks and pencils. In addition, a stock percentage will be reserved to attend unforeseen events.
To carry out this initiative, the INABIE worked for eight months through its Purchasing addressstarting with the socialization of the specifications with those interested and complying with all the procedures established in the Law 340-06 to guarantee transparency in the tender.
