The new director of the National Police, Major General Eduardo Alberto Then, made a tour of various sectors of the capital this Saturday as part of its policy of the fight crime.
The neighborhoods that the general toured Then as part of a supervision of preventive work were La Puya, Cristo Rey, La Zurza, widen La Fe, among others.
According to information provided by the Police, the director of the uniformed said that he will be patrolling “like a satin in the streets until the peace and tranquility of the citizens is restored ”.
On his way he talked with community leaders and official agents.
On Christ the King, the first neighborhood where the police commander arrived, met with several community members in detachment C5, who expressed satisfaction with the preventive work carried out in that sector.
Then in La Zurza, listened to community and sports leaders, who also recognized Then’s work by beginning to “regain confidence through the actions of its director.” He said he will be in permanent service.
