The secretary general of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabellohe reiterated that Colombia’s drug trafficking planned and financed the so -called “Operation Gideon” that sought the murder of the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, and all the high political command.
In the usual press conference of the political organization, Cabello commented that “today a guy, a mercenary, enemy of this country, a guy like Jordan Goudreau, that the citizen president of the National Assembly, the fellow Jorge, denounced him With name and surname (…) saying that he was the one he directed, he was programming all the camps before Gideonmercenario training camps ”.
In addition, he recalled that the president of Parliament, Jorge Rodríguez, gave the precise coordinates “to the drug trafficker of Iván Duque, to the Government of the Narcoparaco Iván Duque (but) did nothing.”
“These camps directed and financed a drug trafficking agent nicknamed ‘double wheels’ and that person now comes out of the story that all Venezuelans know about the participation, planning and financing of narcoparamilitarism in the operation called Gideon, attempted murder against the president Nicolás Maduro, against all the high political command, ”he said.
Cabello indicated that Colombian presidents Álvaro Uribe Vélez and Iván Duque say nothing about this.
“In Colombia there is no justice. In Colombia those things happen and is normal, very normal, extremely normal. Narcoparamilitarism controls the powers, many of them, controls police forces at the high level. That is not new, rather we can say that in recent years with President (Gustavo) Petro has made a great effort, but it is impossible. The ramifications that narcoparamilitarism have makes them very difficult for them to change, ”he emphasized.
He also commented that despite having given all this information before the plans, “now the guy says who they are” and that it is not surprising that among those involved are the ultra -rightist Juan Guaidó, Leopoldo López, Lester Toledo, as well as Duke and Uribe .
On the other hand, he said that they had also warned about the use of the United States Agency for International Development (Usaid by English) by the Government of that country to finance coups in Venezuela through non -governmental organizations ( NGO). “Now as in the United States they will investigate NGOs, now they believe,” he said.
